Osceola Regional Announces Hunt For Pink October and Pinktober Community Participation
Kissimmee, Florida— “THE HUNT IS ON!” The Breast Care Center of Osceola Regional Medical Center announced their first annual Hunt For Pink October SM Contest and PinkTober community participation on October 15th. Osceola Regional employees will wear pink in recognition of PinkTober to join the efforts in raising breast health awareness.
Osceola Regional Medical Center has also partnered with thirteen local businesses throughout Osceola County to raise breast health awareness. The promotion enables participants to HUNT, LEARN & WIN fabulous prizes while educating the community on the importance of detecting breast cancer in its early stages.
Participants can find a Hunt For Pink October SM scavenger hunt form in the Osceola News Gazette, online at www.OsceolaRegional.com/pink, or at any of our thirteen partnered businesses throughout town. Participants will visit three scavenger hunt stops in Osceola County where they will learn about breast cancer by filling in a Breast Health Trivia Question and Answer on their form. Participants will then turn in their completed forms to the Breast Care Center of Osceola Regional Medical Center (730 West Oak St., Kissimmee FL 34741) by 4:00 pm on November 5, 2010. Participants will also receive a gift bag and educational information at the Center.
All completed forms are entries for the following prizes: 1st Grand Prize: Staycation Package at the Clarion Resort Waterpark for 3 days and 2 nights; 2nd Grand Prize: 6 month membership to Curves Fitness Center; 3rd Grand Prize: 3 month Family Membership to the Osceola County YMCA.
