Volunteers
The Volunteer program at Osceola Regional Medical Center is an integral part of our hospital team. Volunteers offer their time and talents throughout the hospital assisting in patient and visitor areas.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer opportunities exist in many areas including information desks, nursing areas such as the Baby Place, PCU and patient floors, as well as the hospital gift shop. You may begin volunteering as young as age 14, and our volunteers work a minimum of 4 hours per week.
Hospital Auxiliary
Volunteers are also invited to join the Hospital Auxiliary, the fund raising arm of the organization. The Auxiliary not only runs the Gift Shop, the main funding source for the medical scholarships offered by the Auxiliary, but also provide bonnets and booties to all babies born at our hospital, and sponsor and assemble the pediatric Goodie Bag Program.
Volunteer Benefits
Volunteer benefits include:
- discounts in our gift shop
- monthly newsletters
- invitations to hospital functions
- complimentary meal for each shift worked
- annual flu shots, and more.
