Dr. Andrew Skattum is the Associate Trauma Medical Director. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Cincinnati, then attended the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed post-graduate training during his residency in general surgery at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center and a fellowship in surgical critical care at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. Skattum is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care.
Dr. Skattum’s professional interests include trauma and critical care, open and laparoscopic general surgery, robotic surgery and endoscopy. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association, American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
